Vijayawada Punugulu Is An Emotion, Feels Prabhas

Superstar Prabhas is known for his food, both the ones he eats and the ones he treats others to. From starlets like Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon to Malavika Mohanan, everyone reveals the kind of food Prabhas feeds them, and finds love in doing it.

In the “Couple Friendly” special interview that was released, the superstar explained his love for the ‘punugulu’, a popular snack that was super popular in the Andhra region of the Telugu states.

“I love the punugulu that will be served in Vijayawada city. When I visited my cousin and bestie Pramod (UV Creations)’s place in the city during the summer holidays, his father used to take us to eat punugulu. These days, if I travel through Vijayawada, I always try to eat them. Now that I’m travelling at night, those shops are getting closed. Small size punugulu, with chutney, makes me mouth-watering even now,”, said Prabhas.

Punugulu is an emotion”, said Manasa Varanasi, to which Prabhas replied, “Yeah, it is,” thereby giving a huge shoutout to Vijayawada city’s punugulu.

Needless to say, Prabhas is such a foodie that he always treats his co-stars and crew to homemade food, especially food from Bhimavaram. Also, he’s known for savouring lots of dishes from each city’s popular joints, and he also makes chefs cook them.
