It is already known that Prabhas is committed to work on three films under the production of Hombale Films. He has been searching for the right talented film makers to handle these projects and here’s a look into the story.
The much talked about collaboration between Prabhas and Prasanth Varma is very much on track, though fans may have to wait patiently. The project has not been shelved, and there is no truth to the ongoing cancellation rumours.
At present, Prabhas is fully occupied with multiple films lined up back to back. He is currently working on Fauzi and Spirit, and is also expected to simultaneously take up Kalki 2. With such a packed schedule, it will naturally take time before he can begin work on Prasanth Varma’s film. Only after completing these three major commitments is he likely to move forward with this collaboration.
Meanwhile, Prasanth Varma is concentrating on his ambitious magnum opus Jai Hanuman, starring Rishab Shetty. The film is set to be officially launched with a pooja ceremony in Hampi on February 22. Interestingly, it was Prabhas who was highly impressed with Prasanth Varma’s story and recommended him to Hombale Films, a banner with which he already shares a commitment.
Given that Prasanth Varma’s films usually blend mythological and historical elements, they demand extensive pre visualization work. Reports suggest he invested considerable time and effort into the pre vis process for Jai Hanuman as well, ensuring grand cinematic scale.
