Buzz: Prabhas’s Spirit Postponed To This Date?

One of the busiest stars in India right now is none other than Superstar Prabhas. But that doesn’t mean, his films are always on schedule. Juggling multiple films has become his pattern, as he is shooting for three films at a time, but then, delays have become a byproduct of that pattern.

At the moment, Prabhas is balancing three major projects, including Sandeep Reddy’s Spirit, sequel of Kalki 2898 AD, and Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauzi. Dates are being split, schedules are overlapping, and somewhere in between, the shoots are also slowing down. Of course, Spirit, in particular, has taken a hit. Prabhas had joined the sets early in December 2026 itself, but the shoot had to be paused as he wants to complete Fauzi, first.

Parallelly, he has also committed dates for Kalki’s sequel, where combination scenes with Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are pending. Now it looks like the initially planned March 2027 release of “Spirit” is unlikely to happen for the same reason. That’s no longer happening. As per reports coming, the movie might get pushed all the way to December 1st, 2027 release. That’s the same date director Sandeep’s last film Animal released. At the same time, even Prabhas has Salaar released in December month only, so that would be a win-win move, sentimentally.

Though there is no official confirmation regarding this, it’s coming out from close circles that due to Prabhas’ mutliple committments, postponement of Spirit is imminent.
