Fact Check: Is Prabhas’ Spirit Really Starting in September?

Fans of Prabhas have been eagerly waiting for updates about his upcoming film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Ever since the official announcement, expectations have been sky-high, as this is the actor’s first collaboration with the Animal director.

Recently, Sandeep Reddy Vanga hinted that the movie would begin its journey in September 2025. Following this, several rumours started spreading on social media. One particular post from an unofficial X (Twitter) account claimed that the grand launch was fixed for September 2, 2025. The news went viral within minutes, and many assumed it to be true.

However, close sources have now clarified that no such event has been planned. Any official updates about the project will only come from Vanga himself or the production houses backing the film. Fans are advised not to believe unverified posts and to wait for authentic announcements.

Coming to the film’s casting details, Triptii Dimri has been finalized as the female lead. The movie is said to be a high-voltage cop drama, produced jointly by Bhadrakali Pictures and T-Series. Reports suggest that Harshavardhan Rane will be composing the music, though the makers have not confirmed it yet. There has also been talk about popular Korean actor Don Lee (of Train to Busan fame) joining the project, but this too remains unverified at the moment.
