Raja Saab Day 1 Estimates: ₹100 Cr Gross On Cards

Superstar Prabhas’ much-awaited film, The Raja Saab, hit cinemas the other day on January 9th, much to huge expectations. Despite mixed talk and a total bashing by the critics, the horror-fantasy entertainer showcased what the Superstar’s unmatched pulling power is like. Here are the trade estimates for Day 1 collections of the film.

Guess what, early estimates suggest that the film is right on track to touch the massive ₹100 crore gross mark from the worldwide box office on its Opening Day. In the Telugu states, the film has put up strong figures, with Nizam alone contributing nearly ₹23 crores gross excluding GST. Other key territories like Ceded (₹7.3 Cr), Krishna (₹2.6 Cr), Nellore (₹1.65 Cr), and West Godavari (₹2.97 Cr) showered huge love on the Prabhas starrer. Including the total ₹75+ crores gross from the India box office, Raja Saab is likely to post ₹100 Crores gross when Overseas numbers are added.

Overall, the film is registering good numbers at the grassroots level, and with Saturday and Sunday being holidays, surely the film might get more. On Friday itself, Raja Saab registered over 57% occupancy in Telugu states, and over 20% of occupancy in Tamil and Hindi regions. If the Holidays could contribute more to this occupancy, the opening weekend is likely to make it big for ‘The Raja Saab’.
