At the recent grand pre-release event of the highly anticipated pan-India film, Kalki 2898 AD, hosted at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, enthusiasts enjoyed a breathtaking introduction to the unique robot character, Bujji, and the film's lead, Bhairava, portrayed by Prabhas. In the event, Prabhas shared many interesting things.
Prabhas started his speech by sarcastically asking Nag Ashwin, “Three years of collaboration, and all we get is a 50-second glimpse? What's this sir?”. Later the actor said, “Our director, with his vision, has kept us intrigued for three years now. However, the true highlight for me is the privilege of working alongside stalwarts like Amitabh Bachchan sir and Kamal Haasan sir in Kalki. A hundred salutes to Kamal sir! Thank you, thank you, sir. Amitabh and Kamal sir are beacons of inspiration for the entire nation. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to share screen space with them. Transitioning from the North to garnering a fan base in the South is a feat achieved only by the likes of Amitabh sir."

Directed by Nag Ashwin, "Kalki 2898 AD" is an epic sci-fi film with Prabhas portraying the lead role of Bhairava, inspired by Hindu mythology. The film is scheduled for release on June 27, 2024.
