Is It Prabhas' Idea To Give A Mythological Touch In 'Kalki'?

'Kalki 2898 AD' nearly collected 300 crores in two days and it is the talk of the movie lovers across the nation. People are talking about Nag Ashwin's visualization and the amazing grandeur that was on display throughout the movie. The performances were lauded too and the technical quality is on par with a few Hollywood flicks. But everyone is talking about the climax of the film which left many awestruck.

The way Prabhas' character got linked to Mahabharat turned out to be the highlight. Fans were crazy in theatres for this twist and the entire movie's story turns towards Prabhas from then. Apparently, it was an idea given by Prabhas himself. During the shooting process, the 'Baahubali' hero apparently suggested linking his character to mythology which gives a high moment in the climax for the audience.

Sources say that Nag Ashwin did not have an idea of Karna's character till then. Even the history books suggest that Ashwattama is immortal and his curse will not end till Kalki comes to life. There is no discussion about Karna whatsoever and it was reportedly a liberty taken by the director. But it was Prabhas who gave him the suggestion according to reports. But his idea worked wonders for the movie and people are more eager to watch the second part than before.
