Maruthi Spending Big Budget For Prabhas Film?

Post the Baahubali series, the budgets of Prabhas films increased massively. However, Prabhas has the idea of doing a small-budget film in between. Even after Saaho, he received big-budget Pan-India films and he could not ignore them.

As Prabhas joined forces with director Maruthi, it was planned to complete the film within an 80 crore budget. Prabhas trusted Maruthi that he could give perfect content on less budget. People Media Factory is bankrolling the upcoming film. It is said that Prabhas's remuneration alone amounts to a major amount.

All the measures were taken to see that the other film budget is limited to under Rs 100 crores. But the budget is said to have increased after the shooting started. The director reportedly spoke to the producers to increase the budget to give good output. Gossip in the industry says that it costs around Rs 100 crores for the VFX work alone.

A few reports say that the budget might have reached Rs 250 crores. Every time Prabhas wants to do a film on a small budget things won't work out. It is said that there are high chances for the budget of the film to reach Rs 250 crores. As Prabhas has a strong market there will be no effect on the film's business.

If the promotion content works there is a chance of seeing profits even before the release. There is no chance for the film to be released next year. He is busy shooting with Kalki which is likely to be released for 2025 Sankranti. Maruthi's directorial is also expected to hit the theatres in the summer the same year.
