Prabhas Says That Amitabh Is The Hero In 'Kalki'!

Prabhas and Nag Ashwin's magnum opus 'Kalki 2898 AD' is not stopping anytime soon. The movie grossed 725 crores in 7 days of its release and it is still going strong. It minted around 45 crores worldwide on the 7th day which explains its craze. The movie has a huge star cast but it is Prabhas who is the main reason behind the hype and collections globally.

The movie's producer Ashwini Dutt recently heaped praises on Prabhas. Talking about his humble nature, the senior producer said that Prabhas was very happy when he knew that Kamal will be a part of 'Kalki'. He added that Prabhas said Amitabh is the first hero of the film and he should be given the deserved respect which in turn increases their respect. He also lauded the way Prabhas worked hard on this film.

The movie is inching towards the 1000 crore mark and the collections have been steady even during the working days. Nag Ashwin's unparalleled vision and stellar making wowed the audience. A lot of celebrities are praising his work. The director recently shared a picture of Prabhas and said, “This man sitting casually there is the reason for all this, unbiasedly the biggest box office star of this era… He gave our production the confidence to do what we did, he gave me the freedom to do what I did… and so many intelligent inputs helped guide the film to what it is.”

Sources say that around 60% of the shooting for 2nd part is done and 'Kalki 2' may be released in the second half of 2025 if things work out. Ashwini Dutt is the producer along with his daughters Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt. Santosh Narayanan gave the music.
