Pradeep Ranganathan Creates History with First Three Films

Actor Pradeep Ranganathan has achieved a rare milestone in Indian cinema. He has delivered three back to back movies that each earned more than ₹100 crores at the worldwide box office. What makes this achievement even more special is that these are his first three films as an actor which is a true dream start for any newcomer in the film industry.




 


Pradeep first entered cinema as a director with the film Comali in 2019. It performed well in theatres and collected over ₹50 crores giving him a strong entry into the industry. Later he made his acting debut with the 2022 romantic drama Love Today. The film became a huge success with youth audiences because of its fresh story and emotional moments. It earned over ₹100 crores and was later remade in Hindi with the title Loveyapa.

His second film as an actor Dragon continued this winning streak. The movie crossed ₹100 crores worldwide within just ten days by proving his growing popularity among the audience.

Now, Pradeep has scored his third blockbuster with Dude. The film is directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Within the first week of release, Dude crossed the ₹100 crore mark globally and became one of the biggest winners of the Diwali season especially in South Indian states.

Pradeep thanked fans from Tamil Nadu, as well as Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada audiences. He also expressed gratitude to viewers from overseas regions like Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, the UK and North America who continue to follow his work. Pradeep also appreciated the media for encouraging him throughout his journey.

Soon the actor will be seen in history next movie titled LIK which will be directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by 7 Screen Studio along with Rowdy Pictures.
