We often see small hero films vacating the spot they already booked to make way for big films. This happens because small films and fresh heroes won't have the capacity to pull the crowds into the theatres despite the competition. When 'Hanu-Man' was announced to hit the screens on 12th January, many expected them to back out of the Sankranti race as the date approached.

But creative Prasanth Varma who made this superhero flick with Teja Sajja is in no mood to back out of the race and is ready to go loggerheads with other Sankranti films including Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Karam' which is releasing on the same day. When an interviewer asked why he did not step out of the Sankranti season despite the heavy competition, Varma claimed that it is they who announced the release date before anyone else and the rest came later.

The journalist gave an example of a cycle going on the same road as four big cars and Prasanth Varma replied that he will not move his cycle from the middle of the road as he was the one to be there first. Looks like 'Hanu-Man' team is hell-bent on arriving on 12th January and no force in the world is going to stop them.

Teja Sajja is the hero in this film while Amrita Aiyer is the heroine. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is playing a key role along with other actors like Samuthirakani, Getup Srinu, Vennela Kishore and others. Produced by K Niranjan Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainments, the movie will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese languages. It is given U/A by the censor board.
