NTR-Neel: A Lot Must Change, But…

It is known that NTR and Prashanth Neel are coming together for their upcoming film, which was officially announced last year. This film is preparing to kickstart shooting later this month and related arrangements are now.

The latest update is that this film will have a very interesting backdrop related to Gold and drugs smuggling that happened at the infamous. Golden triangle in the landmark area between India, Thailand, and Myanmar.

This film will have references to real life incident, and it will be loaded with violent action related to drug trade. However, the issue here is that Prashanth has been working on such subjects all along his career. Both KGF and Salaar have everything to do with the drug trade narrative.

As a result, the responsibility is now on Prashanth to deliver something out of the ordinary. With this upcoming film with NTR as sticking to the same template again and again will give space for monotony and repetition.

Even NTR himself was recently seen in Devara, which dealt with smuggling and sea lines. So if his next film is also on a similar territory, then think about real tricky.

Both Prashanth and NTR will be fully aware of what is happening, and we can expect them to make adequate changes to the narrative and the visual presentation in order to offer a fresh appeal.

This film will get started with the shooting by the end of this month and is likely to be completed by the end of this year. Tentative release plan for the film is to release it in theatres in the first half of 2026, but this is subject to change based on the pace of the production.
