Prasanth Neel is one of the most wanted directors in the country at the moment. People expected it to shatter records and 'Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire' turned out to be a blockbuster. Prasanth Neel showcased Prabhas in a way that his fans wanted and set the stage perfectly for the second part. He left the audience with a huge cliffhanger and people want to see what happens in the kingdom of Khansar. Also, they are curious to see how best friends Deva and Varadharaja Mannar turned into arch-rivals and why Deva had to live in exile with his mother.

Prior to that, he shook the whole country with 'KGF 1 & 2'. He always said that his 'Ugramm' is the most special film in his career. The movie completed its 10th anniversary recently and he himself agreed to the fact that 'Salaar' is an updated and costly version of his debut film 'Ugramm'. Prasanth who usually lays low if there are no releases has given an interview. In that, he talked about his most favourite director.

He said, “My all-time favorite director is Upendra. I'm not saying this because it's a Kannada show. His films, Shhh!, Tharle Nan Maga, and Om, span three different genres, and it's not easy for a director to handle such diversity, but Upendra accomplished it.” This is a huge surprise for everyone. Apart from being a star hero, Upendra made out-of-the-box films that no one even dared to think about at that time. He even said that his favourite actor is Amitabh Bachchan while Sridevi is his all-time favourite heroine.

Prasanth Neel is working on the script of 'Salaar 2' and he also has '#NTR31' in his hands right now. He is the most happening director and all the fans want their heroes to be directed by Neel as he showcases them in a mass manner. There is even talk about 'KGF 3' but it may take some more time before he does that.
