In the first four days, the movie grossed over 500 crores worldwide according to trade pundits and the collections in the Telugu states are fantastic as well. As per reports, the money minted by 'Salaar' on the first day in the Nizam area alone is 22.55 crores which is quite massive. Prabhas's last film 'Adipurush' did a business of 13.68 in the Nizam area on Day 1.
The record-breaking spree is going on as the film entered Nizam's Top 3 grossers list already. The movie overtook Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' and stands in the third spot right now. It is just 4 days after the release and it has already collected a share of 50+ crores in Nizam. It is Rajamouli's 'RRR' and 'Baahubali 2' that are in first and second places. Many expect that the records of those films are in big danger.
It was Mythri Movie Makers who released the film in the Nizam area and the movie was released in a record number of theatres. The ticket price hikes, Christmas holiday weekend and special premieres helped the movie as well. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the role of Varadharaja Mannar while Prabhas will be seen as Devaratha.
Shruti Hassan is the heroine who listens to the entire flashback while Jagapathi Babu is seen as the father of Prithviraj and Shriya Reddy. Ravi Basrur's music gets a mixed response while the cinematography and Neel's elevations have worked out well. The second part is expected to arrive by the end of 2024 or 2025.
