Riding high on the success of his Malayalam film "The Goat Life," which recently crossed the 100 crore mark, Prithviraj Sukumaran has some exciting updates for fans. The actor, currently promoting his upcoming film "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," also sheds light on the much-anticipated "Salaar: Part II" directed by Prashanth Neel.

Prithviraj plays the antagonist in "Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire," a story about two friends turned enemies. In a recent interview, he revealed that filming for the sequel is set to begin "very soon." Prashanth Neel reportedly has a "packed shooting plan" in place, and while specific release dates haven't been confirmed, Prithviraj expects the film to hit theaters sometime in 2025.

Interestingly, Prithviraj almost missed out on another project – "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. He confessed he initially wanted to decline the role due to scheduling conflicts with "Salaar." However, it was Prashanth Neel who convinced him to take on the Ali Abbas Zafar-directed film.

Prashanth's unwavering belief in the project and Prithviraj's own intuition ultimately sealed the deal. "Knowing you, if you really let it go, you'll feel rotten," Prashanth reportedly told Prithviraj. These words resonated with the actor, who is now confident he made the right decision. With "Salaar 2," "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," and three other Malayalam films on his plate – "Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil," "Vilayath Buddha," and "L2: Empuraan" – Prithviraj Sukumaran promises to keep audiences entertained in the coming years.
