Prithviraj Revealed Why He Turned Down Chiranjeevi's Film
Prithviraj had to politely decline due to his prior commitment to 'Aadujeevitham', for which he had grown his beard, immersing himself into the character
During a promotional event for his upcoming film 'Aadujeevitham', Prithviraj Sukumaran took a stroll down memory lane, sharing an intriguing anecdote about his interaction with Megastar Chiranjeevi. The versatile actor revealed that he had once been offered a role in Chiranjeevi's magnum opus 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy', a historical epic that released in 2019. Despite being honored by the offer, Prithviraj had to politely decline due to his prior commitment to 'Aadujeevitham', for which he had grown his beard, immersing himself into the character.
Interestingly, fate intertwined their paths once again in 2019 when Chiranjeevi expressed interest in remaking the blockbuster Malayalam film 'Lucifer', with Prithviraj as the director. However, Prithviraj found himself in a similar predicament as before, with 'Aadujeevitham' continuing to demand his unwavering dedication. Despite the initial surprise from Chiranjeevi's team, Prithviraj clarified the situation, emphasizing the prolonged production schedule of 'Aadujeevitham', spanning over a decade.
While unable to collaborate on these projects, Prithviraj expressed admiration for Chiranjeevi and recalled their cordial interactions during the latter's visit to Kerala for 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' promotions.
Additionally, he praised Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi's son, with whom he shared occasional conversations. With 'Aadujeevitham' gearing up for its release on March 28, anticipation runs high for this survival thriller adapted from Benyamin's novel, promising to captivate audiences with its gripping narrative and Prithviraj's stellar performance.
