Malayalam star hero Prithviraj never shies away from experimenting. Despite being a big hero, he doesn't hesitate to play challenging roles. The movie is based on true events and the book 'Aadujeevitham' written by Benyamin. The survivor tale is going to be emotional, intense, touching and inspiring. The trailer generated a lot of buzz on the movie. Academy award winners AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty handled the music and sound designing departments. With Mythri Movie Distribution releasing the film in Telugu states, the team organised a press meet in Hyderabad.
While speaking to the media, Prithviraj said, “Recently, I portrayed King Varadaraja Mannar in 'Salaar'. Now, in the movie, 'The Goat Life', I will be seen as Najeeb, a slave.” He added, “We committed to this film early in 2009. We began shooting in 2018, after ten years. Our schedules took us to Jordan in 2019, and we have since completed filming in Kerala. For this role, I gained weight and later shed 31 kg. We took a 7-month break between schedules to achieve weight loss. Despite facing various challenges, including a COVID lockdown during shooting in Jordan, we persevered.”
National Award winner Blessy directed this project. Prithviraj Sukumar has delivered his best performance in this film and one can see the lengths he went to in order to live the character. Amala Paul will be seen as his wife. This epic saga will be released in theatres worldwide on 28th March. Jimmy Jean-Louis, KR Gokul, Talib Al Balushi and Rik Aby play key roles.
