Choreographer Yells At Priyanka; Became Friends

Right at the beginning of her career, Priyanka Chopra is just a Miss World contestant winner, and she used to look beautiful. Back then, if you looked beautiful and came from a pageant background, the way next is only Bollywood. The likes of Aishwarya Rai, Lara Dutta, Sushmita Sen, and Namrata Shirodkar, have all followed the same pattern. Even Priyanka did the same, but the actress reveals that some choreographers haven’t treated her well.

When I was just 19 years old, we were shooting in South Africa for a song for which Raju Khan is the choreographer. As I’m missing my marks, with terrible timing and not being able to give proper expressions at the same time, and also not matching the steps with my co-star, choreographer Raju Khan has thrown the mic down. He even yelled on the set, saying that “You might have come from Pageant, but learn to dance first to become an actress”. Well, that’s very true. Later Priyanka became good friends with Raju Khan and done a lot of films. She said that she turned that dreadful dancer image to that of a talented dancer later on. She’s now very good friends with Raju Khan.

Now that Priyanka is doing dance, acting, action and everything with some solo movies like “The Bluff”, we have to see if she gets to shake a leg with Mahesh Babu in the upcoming magnum opus, SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi movie. With Rajamouli known for that perfectionist kind of taskmaster when it comes to making his actors dance, like how we have seen it in Naatu Naatu, let’s see if Priyanka gets to showcase her moves to the Telugu audience.
