But in recent years, his career has seen several ups and downs. His recent films have not performed as expected and he has also been facing several controversies.

Interestingly whenever there is a discussion about Puri Jagannadh, Charmy Kaur’s name also comes into the conversation.

There have also been several personal rumours surrounding Puri and Charmy over the years. Some comments have even been made publicly at film events. For example, there was an occasion when Bandla Ganesh made a remark about Puri’s personal life while speaking at an event connected to his son. Now, another controversy has brought both names into the spotlight again.

Recently producer Chaitanya Reddy made serious allegations regarding the theatrical dues connected with Double iSmart. According to the claims, Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy acquired the theatrical rights of the film when the project was facing financial difficulties.

Chaitanya Reddy reportedly claimed that they had asked Puri and Charmy to clear pending dues related to Liger before the release of Double iSmart. She also alleged that the dues were not cleared and that communication became difficult after the release of the film.

The issue was reportedly taken to the Telugu Film Chamber as well. These are allegations made by Chaitanya Reddy about Puri Jagannadh and Charmy.

For many people, the bigger question is why almost every controversy surrounding Puri now seems to bring Charmy’s name into the discussion too. Whether it is his films, production matters or personal rumours, Charmy continues to remain closely associated with conversations about Puri Jagannadh. Even in comments many are responding negatively on Charmy more than Puri.
