Puri-Sethupathi Title Reveal Gets A Date

One of the most discussed films in recent times is director Puri Jagan’s upcoming movie that features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. While the ace Telugu filmmaker is going through a rough patch in his career with films like Double Ismart flopping big time, even Sethupati’s hit streak is not improving, barring movies like Maharaja that came out in 2024.

Though many have been waiting for the updates on this movie for a long time, finally, Puri Jagan clarified that they will be releasing the first look along with the title of the movie on January 16th, on the eve of Vijay Sethupathi’s birthday. The Tamil hero, who is also popular in Telugu hinterlands, celebrates his 48th birthday tomorrow, and hence the mega reveal coming up.

The film is rumoured to be titled Yachakudu earlier, but the current teaser poster indicates that it has a story that deals with a hero who’s blind and holds a stick to walk, while holding a hammer as well, probably to take on goons. We have to see what kind of title Puri Jagan has finally chosen, as the director is known for his titles all the time. Directed by Puri Jagan, the film also features Samyuktha, Tabu, and Duniya Vijay in the leads, while Arjun Reddy fame Harshavardhan Rameshwar composes music.
