Pushpa 2: Another War Brewing Between DSP and Sam?
This compiled the musical work of Devi Sri Prasad and had several viral musical bits in the compilation.
It is known that Pushpa 2 has not one, but two music director in the form of Devi Sri Prasad and Sam CS. Director Sukumar opted to have diversity in musical works for the film, and that is the reason why he brought in Sam as an additional composer alongside the original composer, Devi Sri Prasad.
This led to an occasionally tensed situation amongst the internal unit as DSP expressed dissatisfaction with the producers for not giving viable credits. He spoke very seriously at the promotional event of the film in Chennai.
But just as things look sorted after the release, we are back at square one now. The original soundtrack of the film, which is being released on YouTube, appears to be instigating another war between the two music directors.
Incidentally, the makers of Pushpa 2 released an OST of the film on YouTube yesterday. This compiled the musical work of Devi Sri Prasad and had several viral musical bits in the compilation.
However, this was quickly followed by a social media post from Sam CS who has now stated that OST version of the film will be out on YouTube. He implied that 99% of the work for this OST has been completed already, and it is going to be made available very soon.
This in itself is syndication that the OST that was prepared by Sam CS is going to be completely different from the one that was released by the makers a few days ago. Once this new OST version comes out, there will be an obvious debate between the kind of work that was picked up by DSP and Sam, respectively.
It is strange that this film is still in the middle of heated controversies even after the release as DSP and Sam fight it out for the credits.
