Pushpa 2 Celebrates 50 Days of Unstoppable Success

Pushpa 2 which is a recent a massive hit has completed its 50th day in theaters and it's still going strong. While many films in recent years have struggled to maintain a long theatrical run, Pushpa 2 has defied the trend. Even with numerous films like RRR, Devara and Kalki, which saw shorter runs, Pushpa 2 has continued to make waves in the box office.

Today marks 50 days of this blockbuster and the film is still playing in over 500 screens. Reports suggest that even after 50 days, it is still being shown on more than 20 centers in Telugu states. The film recently re-released with an additional 20 minutes of content under the title Pushpa 2: Reloaded which helped it regain momentum.

Pushpa 2's success reached new heights after the Sankranti festival when it began trending on the BookMyShow platform surpassing other big films. The decision to hold off the digital release for 56 days also paid off as most viewers flocked to theaters avoiding waiting for the online version. This decision created a buzz and contributed to the film's continued popularity especially in northern states.

The film's success proves that a commercial entertainer without relying on heavy graphics or fantasy elements can achieve massive box office success. Director Sukumar and lead actor Allu Arjun have elevated the Pushpa franchise to a new level. Pushpa has become a brand and Allu Arjun’s performance in the film has pushed his image to new heights.
