IT Raids @ Mythri And Sukumar: Pushpa 2 IT Returns Is The Issue?

As we have been reporting, the IT department has started to crack down on Mythri movie makers and Director Sukumar for the last couple of days. They have been extensively, investigating the concerned parties about the financial transactions related to Pushpa 2.

Reportedly the IT department officials have been searching the properties that belong to Sukumar and also Mythri producers - Naveen, Ravi Shankar and Cherry in an attempt to trace out the fiscal records.

As per the latest reports, it is being primarily established that the IT department officials are tracking down. The independent transactions made regarding Pushpa 2. The complaint here is that the claimed theatrical returns of the film do not match with the IT remittance made by the makers of the film.

Apparently, there is a disparity in the collections that were published by the makers and the actual income tax payments that were made in this regard. The officials are said to be investigating the director and the producers regarding the same now.

While it has been a long standing tradition in the industry to publicise non-factual numbers for box office records, the IT department appears to have taken this phenomena very seriously. This could very well instate legal action against the makers. If the payment differences are not sorted out at the earliest.

The officials are reportedly scrutinising the transactions that were done on the official bank accounts related to Mythri movie makers.
