Dhurandhar Failed To Beat Pushpa 2 In This Aspect

Already, the Hindi version collection record of “Pushpa 2” was beaten by the superhit blockbuster “Dhurandar” recently, thus dethroning the record of Allu Arjun starrer after a year. While “Dhurandhar” is currently the highest-grossing Hindi film in Hindi circuits, there was another record that it might not succeed in crossing.
In fact, Allu Arjun’s movie, Pushpa 2, witnessed a massive footfall of 3.7 crores during its lifetime run at the Hindi box office. Currently running in theatres, Dhurandhar has, however, had 3.5 crores footfalls in 53 days. But with the movie hitting Netflix already, the daily footfall might drastically come down, thus making it impossible to beat the record created by Pushpa 2 footfalls.
While Dhurandhar has beaten superhits like Chaava, Gadar 2, Stree 2, and other big blockbusters when it comes to both collections and footfalls, beating Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 record is near impossible. The massive collections, however, could be attributed to the high-priced tickets at multiplexes and how the A-centre audience watched the movie multiple times.
