Pushpa 2 Update: December Release and Premiere Announced!

The highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster "Pushpa," titled "Pushpa 2 - the Rule," has faced several release date changes due to unavoidable circumstances. Initially slated for August 15, 2024, the film was postponed to December 6. Speculations have been rife about whether the film would even make it to the screens this year, with some suggesting that director Sukumar's slow pace might lead to a 2025 release.

However, Mythri Movies, the production house behind "Pushpa 2," has put an end to these rumors. In a recent statement, they confirmed that the film is on track for a December 6 release, assuring fans that all efforts are being made to expedite the production process. To further excite the audience, the producers announced a special premiere on December 5, a day before the official release.

Producer Ravi provided a detailed timeline for the completion of the film. He revealed that the editing of the first half will be finished by September 2, followed by the second half completion on October 6. The final copy is expected to be ready by November 20, allowing for sensor clearance by November 25. Two more songs are yet to be filmed and will be released in October and November respectively.

While fans may have to wait a little longer for updates on the film during Vinayaka Chavithi, the production team is currently focused on shooting the climax scenes at Ramoji Film City. Additionally, two songs are still in the filming stages. With a clear roadmap in place, "Pushpa 2" is poised to captivate audiences in December.
