Finally: Official Clarity on Pushpa 2 OTT Release Date

Allu Arjun and Sukumar have successfully created a storm at the Indian box office with their latest outing, Pushpa 2. This new outing from the Pushpa franchise has gone absolutely bonkers at the worldwide box office and particularly so at the domestic Indian ticket counters.

Now that the film is nearly ending, it’s theatrical run in the domestic markets and as well as the overseas belt, there have been several reports about the OTT release prospect. There were unverified reports that the film could be arriving on OTT very soon.

However, the makers have no issued official clarification on this matter as they confirmed that this new outing from the Pushpa will not be arriving on OTT any time soon. They have confirmed that they will arrive on OTT at least 56 days after its theatrical release.

While the usual standard is that the makers sign four week OTT window agreement, the makers of Pushpa 2 have signed an extended 8 week agreement. As a result, this film will arrive on its official OTT streaming partner Netflix only in February, which is still a fair way from now.
