Pushpa 2 Gets New Release Date: Here are Exciting Updates at Grand Press Meet

The highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, had a grand press meet today where some major announcements were made. The big news that thrilled fans was the change in the release date. Originally set to release on December 6, Pushpa 2 will now hit theaters a day earlier on December 5. Fans are excited about the preponed release, and the energy at the press meet was electric.

Producer Ravi Shankar sparked excitement by hinting at the possibility of a third film in the franchise, stating, “If Pushpa 2 becomes successful, Pushpa 3 will happen.”

The Karnataka distributor shared bold predictions for the film’s success. He confidently stated, “Pushpa 2 will release in 500 single screens in Karnataka, surpassing KGF 2, which was released in 350. While KGF 2 made ₹30 crore on its opening day, we are confident Pushpa 2 will exceed that.”

Producer Naveen Yerneni also recalled meeting Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan during the release of Kalki 2898 AD, discussing the rising costs of making films and ticket rates. He mentioned, “When we told him the ticket rate was ₹100, he encouraged us to increase it, considering the high production expenses.”
