Will 'Pushpa 2' Affect December Releases?

There has been a lot of talk surrounding the release of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. It was supposed to hit the screens on 15th August. The makers officially announced the date long back and the promotions have also been kickstarted keeping that in mind. The news about reshoots and rescheduling has created a sense of panic among the fans as well as the industry folks.

There are reports that 'Pushpa 2' might get postponed to December as the months of September, October and November are completely occupied by other biggies such as 'OG', 'Devara', 'NBK109' and many more. Since it is a pan-Indian film, the release date is very important. There is some part of production left to be done along with editing, re-recording, dubbing and publicity for 'Pushpa 2'.

It might easily take 4-5 months at least and December might be the right time to release this much-awaited flick. But there are some other medium-range as well as big releases already planned in December. If 'Pushpa 2' decides to arrive in that month, a lot of changes need to be done. We need to wait and see how things pan out in the coming days with Allu Arjun's action drama.

Rashmika played the role of Srivalli in this film while Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil played the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Actors like Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, Anasuya and others played negative roles in this high-budget film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer while Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling it. Sukumar is the writer and director of this project.
