Will The Huge Pan-Indian Films Meet The Deadline?

2024 is going to be very crucial for Tollywood. A lot of interesting projects are getting released and big stars who did not arrive last year are coming with huge pan-Indian releases. While some films are yet to get a release date, there are still doubts over a few big projects despite the release date being announced. Let us take 'Kalki 2898 AD' and 'Pushpa 2' for examples!

Prabhas is playing the lead role in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. This high-budget fantasy drama is in the making for the past two years. With a huge ensemble cast like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Hasan, Disha Patani, Dulquer Salman and others, the project is sure to take a long time and the heavy dependence on VFX doesn't help either. But the makers have already announced that the movie will be hitting the screens on 9th May 2024.

There are doubts regarding the movie's release and Nag Ashwin is not known for making films at a rapid pace. Despite all the hurdles, the makers are still confident that they will release the movie on time. The other film facing the same situation is 'Pushpa: The Rule'. Starring Allu Arjun in the title role, it is one of the most-awaited projects in the country.

Sukumar is taking his time and sources say that there are going to be some reshoots as well. Known for his perfectionism, Sukumar is making sure that everything is going right. The makers already announced that it will be released on 15th August 2024 and people are still not sure about it. We need to see if it arrives on the announced date or gets delayed.
