'Radhe Shyam' Director Teaming Up With 'UV Creations' Again!

After making a decent directorial debut with 'Jil' back in 2015, Radha Krishna Kumar came with his second film 'Radhe Shyam' in 2022. Since Prabhas gave him an offer, he stayed with 'UV Creations' and waited for the 'Darling' hero to complete his 'Baahubali' and 'Saaho'. 'Radhe Shyam' was in the making for the past three years and it has been postponed several times.

He made the film on a grand scale and brought the best out of his actors and technicians. The makers promoted it as a love story right from the beginning and they never showed any action part in the trailers. Being a Prabhas film, people expected something huge from this film but they watched an emotional love story in theatres which brought a mixed response on the morning shows. It later turned into negative talk and the movie ended up being a disaster.

Radha Krishna Kumar was highly disappointed with the outcome and even 'UV Creations' who faced back-to-back disasters like 'Saaho' and 'Radhe Shyam' had to stay away from big projects for a while. After a couple of mid-level and small films, the renowned banner is again making films with the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Recently reports suggest that the esteemed production house is ready to give Radha Krishna another chance. Apparently, the 'Jil' director readied a script and worked on it for a year. Sources say that they decided not to go extravagant this time and are planning to make it a mid-range movie with heroes like Gopichand or Sharwanand. Radha Krishna proved that he is a stylish filmmaker and has a good knowledge of the craft. It is the script that proved to be weak in both 'Jil' as well as 'Radhe Shyam'. We need to see if he bounces back with his third film or not.
