“I Won’t Agree to Every Bold Scene”

Bollywood actress Radhika Apte is known for choosing different and challenging roles. She has acted in films and web projects that required her to play bold and unusual characters. However, the actress has now made it clear that doing bold roles does not mean she will agree to every scene offered to her.

Radhika recently spoke about some of her experiences in the film industry. She explained that there is a difference between doing a bold role and accepting a scene that has no real purpose in the story.

The actress recalled an incident from her career when she was asked to do an unusual scene during an action sequence. According to Radhika, she was asked to open the buttons of her shirt for the scene. She questioned why such clothing was needed for an action sequence.

She said, “I asked what they wanted to show through that scene.”

Radhika explained that she was not comfortable with the request and finally decided not to do the scene. She also revealed that she was later asked if she could perform the scene wearing only innerwear.

The actress said that such experiences taught her to clearly understand the reason behind every scene before agreeing to it.

Radhika also spoke about intimate scenes in movies. She said that some filmmakers treat such scenes very casually. According to her, a filmmaker should explain why an intimate scene is important for the story.

She recalled how some people speak about such scenes by saying, “It is only a 15-second kiss scene.”

Radhika said that hearing such statements makes her laugh rather than become angry. She believes that every scene in a film should have a proper reason.

The actress also made an important point about her image. Just because she has acted in bold scenes earlier, it does not mean that she will accept every bold scene in the future.

Radhika believes that an actor should have the freedom to decide whether a particular scene suits the character and the story. If a bold scene is important to the story, she has no problem performing it. But she does not want unnecessary scenes to be added only to attract attention.
