The actress worked in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages and talked about her experience in various industries. In an old video that came years back, she had some strong words to say about Tollywood. She said, “The one industry I've struggled the most with is Telugu. That industry is so patriarchal, sort of male dominated..male chauvinist. I mean its unbearable the way women are treated.”

She added, “Even their part in the films is like 'My man is the god'. On set, you are treated like one some third person and the actor! They don't even ask the actors anything. You know, they say that the actor's mood right now is not good and he wants to have Chai. I have constantly struggled and I put an end to it. I have realised that's it for me.”

This video clip where she is being interviewed by Rajeev Masand is going viral right now. People are supporting her while many are condemning her statements by saying that we just not judge a movie by the behaviour of a few people. Let us see how much stir the video creates on the internet.
