Telugu actor Rahul Ramakrishna has shared his views on some common practices in the Telugu film industry. His comments have attracted attention as he questioned the way filmmakers present locations in movies and promote their films among audiences.

Rahul Ramakrishna made a sarcastic comment about aerial shots of villages, towns, cities, forests and rivers. He said that showing these places through drone shots does not automatically help create a strong world for a film. He added that these shots are only basic visuals and should not be treated as an important achievement in filmmaking.

He compared such visuals to using Google Earth with a film production budget. His comment highlights the need for filmmakers to focus on storytelling instead of depending too much on attractive locations and aerial visuals.

A film needs more than beautiful scenery to connect with audiences. Strong characters, an interesting story, natural emotions and good direction are also important. Visuals can improve the experience but they cannot replace the main elements of a film.

Rahul also raised questions about the growing trend of promoting films at college campuses. Many film teams visit colleges to interact with students and create excitement before a movie's release. Also Rahul's point is that such excitement does not always bring audiences to theatres. Students may enjoy meeting film stars and taking selfies, but that does not guarantee that they will buy tickets to watch the movie.

The Telugu film industry has been experimenting with different promotional methods to reach younger audiences. Rahul's remarks have started a discussion about whether filmmakers should focus more on the quality of their films than on promotional activities. Whatever it is an young actor like him should have much dare to bring such a sensitive issue to notice.
