Will Rahul Sankrityan Create His Own Style?

Every director has a different style of making films. But creating a unique style is not easy. Only a few directors can make films that have a special identity. When audiences watch their movies, they can easily recognise their way of story style. Now director Rahul Sankrityan also seems to be moving in that direction.

Directors like Sekhar Kammula are known for making feel good movies. His films usually connect with audiences through emotions and natural storytelling. Sukumar has a different style. He is known for his logical approach and detailed storytelling. His films often have interesting twists and strong character development. These directors have created their own identities in Telugu cinema.

Now Rahul Sankrityan is trying to create a similar identity with historical and period films. His earlier film Shyam Singha Roy showed his ability to handle a period story. The film featured Nani in the lead role. It presented two different worlds and connected them through an emotional story.

The period portions of Shyam Singha Roy received appreciation from many viewers. Rahul also handled the sensitive subject of the Devadasi system in an impactful way. Now Rahul is coming with Ranabaali. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Set in the pre Independence period, the film explores the atrocities committed by the British in the Rayalaseema region. The trailer has created curiosity among movie lovers.

So with this Rahul has another opportunity to prove his talent in period storyt style. Shyam Singha Roy gave audiences an idea of his skills. Now expectations are higher because Ranabaali appears to be a bigger project with a historical background.

Bur making one successful period film and repeating that success with another film are two different things. Rahul needs to balance emotions, historical details, action and story style to make Ranabaali connect with audiences.

So if he can make audience happy with emotions and narrative style in Ramabali then there are no doubts that he too will create his mark in Tollywood.
