It is an open secret that the Indian film industry has fully embraced the culture of sequels. However, the dynamic of sequence is changing with multiple films, getting remade in multiple languages after the success of the first part. Similar thing happened with Bollywood film Raid, which had Ajay Devgan in the lead role.

The first part of the film was a smashing success at the box office, and it showed Ajay in the most authentic and action packed way possible. Now the makers have lined up the sequel for the film, and the teaser was released a short while back.

The teaser looks very impressive, and there is a lot of impetus attached to the same. It is very refreshing to see Ajay in such an action packed appearance.

Earlier, the first part was remade in Telugu with Ravi Teja in the lead role and the film was titled Mr. Bachchan. This film turned out to be a huge disaster, despite having the core plot of Raid intact. This was largely due to the mishandling of the commercialisation aspect of the story that was done by Director Harish Shankar.

However, if you look at the teaser of the sequel, there is a lot of determination and grit that is shown. The premise and also the visual presentation has been largely up skilled in order to enhance the commercialisation of the film and take it to the masses.

This is how commercialisation of the first part would have also been done in the case of the remake, Mr. Bachchan. This is where Ravi Teja got his calculation, horribly wrong as he missed the essence.

In the case of the teaser of the sequel, commercialisation of this honest plot, revolving around an upright IT officer has been handled well. This is what we call perfect operation within commercial troops. Perhaps Director Harish Shankar has a lesson to learn from this if he is watching the teaser.
