Prabhas returned to the big screens with his latest film Raja Saab, which arrived on January 9. The film is returning decent revenues in the Telugu states, but turning out to be a mega disaster at the Hindi box office.

The Hindi box office performance of The Raja Saab is clearly showing worrying signs right from the opening weekend.

The film opened on Day 1 with ₹ 5.50 crore, a figure that was already below expectations given the scale of the project, the star power involved, and the promotional push. For a film positioned as a major commercial entertainer, the opening should have been much stronger to build early momentum.

The real concern began on Day 2, when collections dropped sharply to ₹ 4 crore. Instead of showing growth or at least stability, the film witnessed an immediate decline, indicating weak word of mouth and limited audience pull.

Day 3 offered no relief either, as collections remained stuck at ₹ 4 crore, showing that there was no weekend jump at all. This flat trend over a crucial weekend is a major red flag.

Ideally, a film with long term potential should see steady growth over the first three days, especially in the Hindi market where weekends play a decisive role. In this case, the lack of growth suggests audience rejection rather than curiosity.

Unless there is a sudden turnaround driven by exceptional weekday hold or unexpected positive buzz, The Raja Saab in Hindi is heading towards a disappointing outcome. At this stage, the trend strongly points towards a box office disaster rather than a recovery story.
