Two major films based on the Ramayana are getting attention now. One is Ramayana directed by Nitish Tiwari, with Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Rama. This movie is a direct and full retelling of the epic story. It focuses only on the Ramayana and aims to show it in a pure and traditional way.
