Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli's upcoming film SSMB29 is one of the most anticipated movies of the decade. As revealed earlier, the film is set against the backdrop of the African jungles and will follow an Indiana Jones-style adventure template.

The latest reports suggest that director SS Rajamouli has taken his preparation for the film a step further by purchasing the rights to African-British novelist Wilbur Smith's bestselling adventure novels Triumph of the Sun and King of Kings. Both these books are set in Sudan, Africa and follow the thrilling journeys of various characters in the African region, providing rich source material for Rajamouli's vision.

While there has been no official confirmation from the makers, this move indicates that Rajamouli is leaving no stone unturned to ensure an authentic and immersive experience for the audience. Interestingly, the script work for SSMB29 was reportedly completed earlier, leading to speculation on whether the book rights were acquired for visual reference or if the writing process is still ongoing.

SSMB29 is shaping up to be a grand cinematic experience, with Mahesh Babu playing a character inspired by Lord Hanuman. The film will be a pan-Indian release, with MM Keeravani composing the music and Rajamouli's frequent collaborator K.K. Senthil Kumar handling the cinematography. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates on this highly anticipated project.
