Will Chiranjeevi hijack Prabhas’s date?
The latest update is that Prabhas and Maruti’s ongoing film Raja Saab could get postponed.
The release dates of Telugu biggies are getting largely shuffled for coming summer season. While megastar Chiranjeevi‘s Vishwambhara has already vacated the Sankranthi slot to accommodate Ram Charan’s Game Changer, more alterations in the release dates could be happening soon.
The latest update is that Prabhas and Maruti’s ongoing film Raja Saab could get postponed. Though the filming is nearly done, there is a lot of CGI and graphics works left to be done, which could take a lot of time.
If these post production activities are not completed on time, then the Prabhas film might certainly not make it to the theatres on 10 April, as announced earlier. If that really is the case, and the film gets postponed from this April slot, then this date could be hijacked by Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara.
Vishwambhara is done with the shoot already, and the post production works are going on now. The final copy is likely to be ready by this February or March. In that case, this film could very well be prepared for release in April.
Though the makers of the Chiranjeevi film announced that it is releasing on May 9, they could very well be preponing the release window to April 10, if Raja Saab does not make it on time.
There are a lot of ifs and buts associated with the release window of these films so we should wait and see how things pan out now.
As of now, Prabhas is arriving on April 10, while Chiranjeevi has locked May 9. But based on the last-minute calculations, there is a very good chance that these films might alter the release plans.
It can also be noted that Pawan Kalyan has OG lined up for release on March 28. There is a good chance that this film might also get postponed as another film of Pawan Kalyan Hari Hara Veera Mallu is up for release on the same weekend. Overall, there is a lot of confusion about the release plans of the mentioned Telugu big league films.
