How Warner Reacted To Rajendra Prasad Torment?

The other day, the makers of Robin Hood held a grand promotional event in Hyderabad and it featured the entire lead cast associated with the film. Nithiin, Sree Leela, and David Warner partook in the event last night.

Incidentally, there was this one extremely unfortunate incident that happened on stage as senior actor, Rajendra Prasad crossed the line while speaking about David Warner.

At one point in time during his speech, Rajendra Prasad referred to Warner as “Donga Mu**a”. The senior actor further added that corner does everything on the pitch other than playing as he comes up with Pushpa dance moves, and all kind of theatrics on the field.

Adding to that Rajendra Prasad called Warner as “oreyy warneruuu”. This wild comment from the senior actor immediately got negativity on social media. As people felt Rajendra Prasad should not have humiliated David Warner, regardless of the fact that he does not understand Telugu.

When asked to comment on this matter, Director Venky, who obviously has a good relationship with Rajendra Prasad, and would have already spoken with Warner on the issue, made a clarification.

Venky stated that this incident was brought up in front of David Warner and he reacted in very calm manner. “Yes, I spoke about this topic with Warner and explained him what had happened. He took it in a very positive spirit. Warner said he enjoys sledging other players on field, and in the same way, he positively takes the senior actor speaking about him on stage.” Venky said.

By the clarification issued by Venky, it appears that David Warner took this incident in a very sportive manner and had no hard feelings about the same.
