Rajendra Prasad is one of the versatile actors in the movie industry who has been working for decades. In the recent past, during the pre-release event of the web series Hari Katha, he made some comments about the portrayal of heroes on the big screen. He cited an example of Pushpa to prove his point but his comments are misinterpreted in the media.
Rajendra Prasad opened up that the portrayal of the heroes in Telugu has changed. He called the characters he played in Appula Apparao, Ladies Tailor, April 1 Vidudala and others as good for nothing. He tried to explain that good for nothing fellows have become heroes. At the same time, he said that a smuggler has become a hero in Pushpa 2.
Interestingly, Rajendra Prasad did not intentionally commented on Allu Arjun or the film Pushpa 2. He tried to make a point that the heroes are good for nothing people these days. He just shared his opinion but he was subjected to trolls.
Now, he clarified again in a recent press interaction that even Allu Arjun spoke to him on this and told that he would not have spoken with such an intention. He added that he tried to find out why these trolls popped up and someone told that people would not watch videos if they don't create such thumbnails.
