Rajnikanth Talks About Trusting Nelson After 'Beast'!
Beast released after the promo launch and it received negative reviews.
Superstar Rajnikanth has turned 72 and the man is showing no signs of slowing down. Despite his age and health problems, the undisputed emperor of South Indian cinema is still making his fans happy. At this point in time, his aura is just enough to make the masses go crazy in theatres. He doesn't need to do anything extraordinary. All he needs to do is dress up and walk toward the camera.
But he still works hard even to this day and it is what makes him the undisputed superstar in India. He is arriving with 'Jailer' on 10th August and the makers have already released 'Kaavaala', 'Hukum' and 'Jujubee' songs. Also, the short glimpse created a lot of hype on the movie. With the promotional content impressing the audience till date, the team decided to take it to another level with the audio launch.
It was a treat for Thalaivar fans and a lot of team members showed their confidence on the movie. Talking about his director Nelson, Rajnikanth said, "We had shot a promo and announced the film. Beast released after the promo launch and it received negative reviews. I received a lot of calls from distributors to replace director Nelson. We then had a meeting with the Sun Pictures team. They had informed me that Beast, even though received poor reviews, didn't cause any losses for its distributors." On the other hand, producer Kalanithi Maran claimed that Rajni is a record maker and not a record breaker.
'Jailer' is Rajni's immediate film after a failure like 'Annathe'. Nelson Dilipkumar is directing this action drama while Sun Pictures is producing it. Mohanlal is playing a crucial role and other noted actors like Kannada star hero Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Naga Babu, Jackie Shroff and others are also a part of this film. Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer. R Nirmal is the editor.
