BMS Bookings: Coolie 1M, What About War 2?

The Indian film industry is going to observe one of its biggest theatrical films in the form of War 2 and Coolie. Incidentally, both these films are releasing the theatres on August 14, and there is a lot of anticipation going on about the kind of clash that is going to be observed between the two of them.

But when it comes to early ticket booking projections, it appears that the Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj film is miles ahead of the NTR and Hrithik Roshan film.

In terms of BookMyShow bookings, it can perhaps be argued that the Rajinikanth film is not even comparable to the NTR film as the numbers are overwhelmingly in favour of Coolie.

Till now, this Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj film has sold in the range of 1 million tickets on BookMyShow. While on the other hand, we have the NTR and Hrithik Roshan film, which has barely sold 66K tickets.

There is absolutely no comparison between the two films as Rajinikanth is beyond expectations while NTR and Hrithik Roshan are largely underperforming for unknown reasons.

The lack of early anticipation on this franchise film, War 2 is clearly showing here as it is not even able to give any sort of competition with Rajinikanth film, Coolie.

Well, we have one film joining the 1 million bracket on BookMyShow already, the other film did not even touch 100K till now, and this displays the kind of difference that is emerging between these two clashing films.
