Rajinikanth’s Rare Family Picture with Grandkids Goes Viral

A rare moment of Superstar Rajinikanth with his family recently caught everyone’s attention. At the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, the superstar was seen with his wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya, his grandchildren, and other family members. Usually, the whole Rajinikanth family doesn’t appear together in public, so fans loved this rare glimpse.

Soundarya shared the photo on Instagram with the caption “Together at iffigoa.” In it, Rajinikanth looks relaxed in a simple casual outfit, smiling with three generations of his family. Fans can’t get over seeing the superstar in such a warm, personal moment.

On the work front, Rajinikanth is busy shooting Jailer 2, an action drama directed by Nelson, set to release in June 2026. His last film, Coolie, was a moderate success.

During IFFI 2025, the actor got emotional while talking about his long career. In a video that’s now trending, he said: “Fifty years in cinema felt like just 10 or 15 years. If there are 100 more lives, I would want to be born as an actor, and as Rajinikanth. All this honour goes to the cinema industry and mainly to the Tamil people, the gods who keep me alive.”

Meanwhile, fans are buzzing about Thalaivar 173. Director Sundar C reportedly stepped away, and Ramkumar Balakrishnan, who rose to fame with Parking, may take over. Rumor has it that Sai Pallavi will play the female lead opposite Rajinikanth.
