A Final Retirement Call From Rajnikanth?

Already, the film featuring Superstar Ranikanth and Kamal Haasan together in a movie, and another one of the star hero that’s being produced by Kamal’s company, are in the pipeline. It’s coming out that #Thalaivar174 is the KHxRK movie, but then what is the 175th movie? Some say that Vivek Athreya will direct it; some stated that another surprising director was roped in. Whatever it may be, here goes the mega twist being heard in film circles now.

A big gossip is coming up from Tamil circles that Rajnikanth will call it quits after he finishes his 175th film. Already, the actor is of the opinion he’s stressing out too much at the age of 75 and doesn’t want to continue doing films like this anymore. Though he has a lineup like Jailer 2, KHxRK, and another solo film, the actor feels that it’s enough. However, his fans are asking him if Amitabh Bachchan is still doing great at the age of 83, why not Rajnikanth continue doing this? Well, that’s a personal call anyway.

On the other hand, earlier Rajnikanth thought of quitting movies and carved out the film “Baba” which failed to click at the box office. After that happened, he took a break but then started doing movies again. Many are wondering if Rajnikanth will really be able to quit films because that’s almost his life, and there’s no stopping that.

In recent times, Vijay has quit films before the elections, and luckily, he became Chief Minister, so he doesn't need to act in films now. However, the actor might resume after his first stint as CM, some say, but close sources maintain that he's done with movies forever. We have to see what path Rajnikanth will take up anyway.
