Charan’s Chikri Dance At Peddi Event Goes Viral

Usually at Tollywood events, big stars are treated like demi-gods, and they only get to talk for hours at the event, with whistles, claps, confetti, and praises following each line.

However, when the same film’s event takes place in Mumbai, surely our very own Tollywood superstars are treating the arena quite differently. That’s what happened with Ram Charan today.

At the Mumbai “Peddi” trailer launch event, Ram Charan stunned one and all with his suave looks. Turning up in a tuxedo-inspired outfit, Charan has grabbed the eyeballs at the event, with his new hairdo and goggles. The actor, however, forgot the fact that he’s a superstar down south, and even shook a leg when asked to.

Though Janhvi Kapoor couldn’t do it as she was dolled up in a saree, Charan did the basic feet sliding step from the Chikri song and took the whole theatre by surprise. He did the sliding towards left and right as well, interchanging the bat, but stated that due to a hand injury, he can’t do it fully.

Currently, the clip of Charan where he danced like this is going viral everywhere, as the internet is liking him to do that dance move during the promotions of the movie. It’s expected that he might do that dance move at the May 23rd event of the film that takes place in Bhopal.

Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is hitting cinemas on June 4th, 2026.
