Prabhas has already played Lord Rama in Adipurush. Ranbir Kapoor is playing Lord Rama in the upcoming Ramayana, while Yash is reportedly seen as Ravana in the same film. Superstar Mahesh Babu is also said to be playing Lord Rama in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film Varanasi. There is also buzz that Jr NTR will appear as Lord Karthikeya in his upcoming film with Trivikram Srinivas.
Now, a new report has created curiosity about Ram Charan. According to the latest buzz, Charan is being considered to play Lord Krishna in the Telugu remake of the Gujarati hit Laalo: Krishna Sada Sahayate.
The original Gujarati film became a major success despite being made with a small budget. The movie reportedly collected more than Rs 120 crore. The story and its treatment received good attention from audiences.
Interestingly, Ram Charan may not play Krishna as the main character throughout the movie. Reports suggest that the role could be a special appearance. The makers are said to be planning to show Lord Krishna in a modern and different style.
There was also earlier talk that Vijay Deverakonda was being considered for the role. But now, reports claim that the makers have approached Ram Charan. If the actor accepts the offer, his look as Krishna could become a major talking point among fans.
At present, there is no official confirmation about Ram Charan playing Krishna.
