"Working With Shivanna Is a Blessing": Ram Charan Gets Emotional at Peddi Event

Ram Charan recently attended the grand Bengaluru press meet of the upcoming sports drama movie Peddi. The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and is set for a worldwide release on June 4. During the event, Ram Charan spoke emotionally about the movie and shared his experience of working with Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar.

Ram Charan said, “Shivanna is like a father, uncle, and brother to me. He is a legend of Indian cinema. Acting with him is a blessing in my life.” He also said that Shiva Rajkumar’s love and affection on the sets gave great strength to the film. His heartfelt words received huge applause from Kannada fans and media.

Talking about the film, Ram Charan revealed that he is returning to the big screen after nearly two and a half years since RRR. He said, “We all worked very hard for this movie. I sincerely gave my heart and soul to this project. Write this down, ‘Peddi’ will become one of the best films in my career. This is one of the most inspiring movies of my life.”

The actor also thanked director Sukumar for making the project possible. He praised Buchi Babu Sana for writing a strong story and appreciated cinematographer R. Rathnavelu and music composer A. R. Rahman for their contribution.

Ram Charan thanked producer Satish Kilaru for spending wholeheartedly on the movie. He also praised actress Janhvi Kapoor for her sincere performance in the film. Speaking about her future, he said, “I wish Janhvi becomes an even bigger star than her mother Sridevi and earns more fame.”

The actor also entertained the audience by speaking a few Kannada words. He said, “Right now I know only little Kannada, but by the next press meet I will learn more and speak a lot better.”
