Ram Charan’s birthday special, Peddi Pehelwan glimpse, got released, and excited fans as the mega hero transformed into a shredded avatar. All these days, they thought this was a cricket-based movie; now it’s turning out to be a wrestling-based film. The first ever glimpse of Peddi features Ram Charan hitting a ball uniquely, as he touches the handle of the bat on the ground, before hitting it for beyond the boundary. Then came the Chikri song, which features the cricketing aspect multiple times, and it has gone viral across the nation, both for its music, glamour and cricket touch as well. That led to a belief that Peddi is centred around cricket big time. However, the latest glimpse says that Charan’s name in the movie is Peddi Pehelwan, indicating that it’s more about wrestling in the movie than cricket.

Well, which sport the film deal with is the biggest confusing part now. If the Gen Z audience connects to the film through the cricket-based promos, how would they receive the movie when inside the theatre, it's about wrestling, is the thing concerning cinephiles now. Peddi is set to hit cinemas on April 30th, while Ram Charan's eyelid injury might delay the release a bit.
