Peddi Day 1 Tsunami: ₹22 Cr Advance Sales Already
If we look at the current sale of tickets, it’s massive, and here are the numbers so far.
Ram Charan’s Peddi is here, almost here, and the film is going to stun the cine world from June 3 evening onwards as Premieres are getting ready, faster than expected. Forget about the reality of premieres, but the Opening Day of the film seems to be explosive, even with the Telugu version alone. If we look at the current sale of tickets, it’s massive, and here are the numbers so far.
Already, Peddi has collected nearly ₹22 crores from the Advance Sales of tickets from across the world. This is only with the Telugu version of the film. If we look at India alone, the film is being screened in almost 1841 shows on the first day, and the occupancy is around 44.1%, going by the current sales. Including the June 3rd premieres, where the sale is so far around ₹4.55 crores, and the June 4th advance sales, where the sale is around ₹6.35 crores, the film is rocking currently with more than ₹10 crores opening from the Telugu version alone in India. Now, if Telangana bookings are also opened, it’s going to be massive.
As the film featuring Ram Charan is already doing well, the other day released ‘Massa Massa’ song added more attention to the movie. With the hero’s hard work and the total effort of the team visible in that video, the film is getting more buzz than expected. Apparently, that led to a spike in sales, and the cooling temperatures due to the arrival of thunderstorms in Telugu states, and the lack of a big-ticket film at the BO, are all favouring Peddi big time.
